The "American Rescue Plan" is the name of the new aide package just signed into law. It has been a pleasant surprise to see the many services and benefits for senior citizens in particular. These include supports to address social isolation, nutrition, health care and many more. Notable are caregiver supports which is sorely needed at this time. The National Council of Aging has published a article summarizing the main supports. "Social Security Works" also published an article on this. Of course it will take some time to actually get rolled out and get the supports to the people so you may want to call your local Office for Aging to stay on top of news about how they can help you.
